Description
Enjoy the coastline, vast polders and enjoy cycling along the water. This is a wonderfully versatile route. Along the way you will discover two nice museums that are worth visiting and the peaceful landscape. You depart from Museum Farm Tante Jaantje. In this historic farm you will learn how people used to live and work in this area. From Callantsoog you dive into the hinterland. Halfway through you will pass Museum de Turfschuur, where you will learn how people literally and figuratively keep their heads above water here. During the route it is wonderful to cycle along meadow polders and colorful flower fields. You then drive nicely along the Waardkanaal to the Amstelmeer, where you can enjoy the birds and water sports enthusiasts. Then you cycle back to the coast at Callantsoog.
