It is wonderful to cycle around Kalmthout in Belgium. You can enjoy the peace and fresh air in the woods and there is plenty of cultural history to experience in the villages on this route.

Caterer-Taverne Annelies
You start and end this route just south of Roosendaal. In recent years, nature in the area has been enriched considerably. You will see an old cultural landscape with forests, fields and grasslands and hedgerows. In Nispen you cycle past the Molen Aerden, a flour mill from 1850. You will also pass a flour mill in Huijbergen: the Johanna dates from 1862. Along the way you can take a break at Traiteur-Taverne Annelies after about 15 kilometers of cycling . Enjoy a tasty snack and a drink here and then get back on your bike.

Brabant Wall
What a nice ride on the bike path. In the village of Wildert you can visit the Bakkersmolen museum complex and the Steam and Bakery Museum. Then you cycle back to the starting point of the route.

Bakery Mill and Steam and Bakery Museum
You will find the steam and bakery museum in the youngest windmill in Flanders. On Sundays, the mill and steam engines are put into operation here. The museum then comes to life. Visit this museum and learn everything about making flour with a mill and baking all kinds of goodies with that flour.
