From Renesse to the North Sea beach

Moermond
The route starts at Hotel Blooker, a hotel where you'll be thoroughly pampered. From there, a charming street leads you onto the 45-hectare estate where the magnificent Moermond Castle stands. This castle originally dates back to the thirteenth century. In 1953, the castle was severely damaged by weather and the North Sea flood. In recent years, the damaged walls, including the moat, have been restored. What a beautiful sight!

North Sea
In Renesse, walk along the old ring road. You'll see some beautiful monuments here, such as the sixteenth-century Jacobuskerk (St. James' Church). Further on, you'll pass the Tin Museum De Blikvanger, where you can admire a collection of over 4,000 tins. A little later, stroll along the North Sea beach. The sound of the surf is wonderful! If the weather is nice, bring a blanket and a picnic to relax here. Time for a paddle!
