From Renesse to the North Sea beach

Moermond
The route starts at Hotel Blooker, a hotel where you will be wonderfully pampered. From here you walk through a beautiful street to the 45-hectare estate on which the beautiful Moermond Castle is located. This castle originally dates from the thirteenth century. In 1953 the castle was seriously damaged by weather and the flood disaster. In recent years, the damaged walls of, among other things, the moat have been restored. What a picture!

North Sea
In Renesse you walk along the old ring road. You will see some beautiful monuments here, such as the sixteenth-century James Church. Further on you will pass Blikmuseum De Blikvanger where you can admire a collection of more than 4,000 tins. A little later you walk on the North Sea beach. How wonderful the surf sounds! If the weather is nice, bring a blanket and a picnic to relax here. That's going to be paddling!
