Hotspots in the Achterhoek

Ruurlo is a pleasant town with a beautiful historic core. You can see here, among other things, the fourteenth-century village church. Just outside the town you pass Kasteel Ruurlo, a country estate from 1326. Now it is a museum; Museum MORE - Ruurlo where you can admire paintings by Carel Willink. In the forest you pass the largest hedge maze in the world. This maze was already constructed in 1890 by the owners of Kasteel Ruurlo. Huis Kieftskamp is also on your route, the country house dates from 1776. You can enjoy the characteristic atmosphere in picturesque Vorden. What a nice village! You can see here, among other things, the village church, which originally dates from the thirteenth century. Further on you will see Molen Ons Belang from 1890 appearing on the horizon.
