Hotspots in the Achterhoek

Ruurlo is a friendly town with a beautiful historic center. Here you will see, among other things, the fourteenth-century Village Church. Just outside the town you will pass Ruurlo Castle, a country estate from 1326. Now it is a museum; Museum MORE - Ruurlo where you can admire paintings by Carel Willink. In the forest you pass the largest hedge maze in the world. This maze was built in 1890 by the owners of Ruurlo Castle. Huis Kieftskamp is also on your route, the country retreat dates from 1776. In picturesque Vorden you can enjoy the characteristic atmosphere. What a nice village! Here you will see, among other things, the village church, which originally dates from the thirteenth century. Further on you will see Molen Ons Belang from 1890 appearing on the horizon.
