At Brasserie Staverden, you will enjoy a delicious meal, after which you will explore the Staverden Estate. The history of this estate dates back to 1300. Along the path, you will therefore see several stately old deciduous trees. It is wonderfully quiet in the forest, ideal for a day of unwinding. The second part of the route leads you through the hamlet of Kleine Kolonie. On the Schaarweg, you will see a modest monument to the crew of a British Lancaster that crashed here on February 20, 1944. Further on, you walk across a small heathland; after junction N32, you walk through the Staverden Estate again. The final part of the route takes you through the estate park. At the end, you can take a look at Staverden Castle, built in the Art Nouveau style.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
