Hulst is a beautiful old fortified town in Zeeland Flanders where you will find many sights. In the surrounding Zeeland-Flemish country you cycle through a landscape of vast polders and small-scale forests.

Picturesque Hulst
The route starts in Clinge, which together with De Klinge forms a Dutch-Belgian border village. Once you cross the border, you will soon pass through the Stropersbos. This Flemish natural gem consists of stately avenues, deciduous and coniferous trees and flower-rich grasslands. Back in the Netherlands you pass through the heart of Hulst. In this former fortified city you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the many beautiful buildings, such as the fifteenth-century St. Willibrordus Basilica.

Graauwse Creek
Cycling in the sparsely populated Zeeland-Flemish polder is wonderfully peaceful. You have sweeping views here, and from afar you can see the church towers of a village appearing on the horizon. At Paviljoen't Schor you can make a refreshing stopover in a unique ambiance. From this spot you look out over the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe. Further on you drive a bit along the Graauwse Kreek, a nature reserve rich in birds. How nice and quiet it is here!
