The Sea of Taste route takes you along the nicest places with regional dishes and other delicacies.
Enjoy delicacies
The seaside resort of De Haan is the starting point of this tasty route. Near this point you will find a tram station and the Delicatessen shop De Coqotte. At the caterer and delicatessen you can find all kinds of delicious fish and meat preparations, home-made Zeebrugge shrimp croquettes and other tasty snacks. Stock up on provisions to snack on along the way or take a look here at the end of your trip and buy an edible souvenir of the day. Whatever you choose, it will taste good. From De Haan you set course for Klemskerke and then cycle on to Vosseslag.

Along the way you cycle past the D\\\'Heye nature reserve, a dune area that is more than 1,000 years old. The landscape here consists of a mixture of dunes, heathlands, fields and meadows. At the end of the route you will arrive back in Haan.

The D\\\'Heye nature reserve is only accessible during a guided walk, but if you cycle along the edges of the area, you can also get a good idea of the peace and space you find here. In the spring, parts of the area are flooded. Flowers and herbs then provide the landscape with a broad color palette.
