Archaeological Footprint
The Streekbos recreation area near Enkhuizen is a wonderful walking area. Forest, water and meadows make the area very varied. You will even find a sandy beach! This route will lead you along the Archaeological Footprint, among other things. The shape of a Bronze Age farm has been recreated with tree trunks to give you an idea of what it looked like here in the early days. You have a nice view of it from the model-screed at the end of the Voetspoor.
