Walking through Lunteren and the forests

From Hotel & Eethuys De Wormshoef, you're quickly immersed in the woods. But first, you'll pass De Hoop, a grain mill dating from 1855. The woods offer a wonderfully peaceful walk, perfect for clearing your head or catching up with fellow hikers. You'll walk through the Dennenhorst estate, which originated around 1900 and houses a pine garden. The adjacent Luntersche Buurtbosch was established around 1890 thanks to the legacy of notary Van den Ham. Here you'll find the De Koepel lookout tower, dating from 1913. You'll also see a memorial tree from 1914, enclosed by a fence and four benches. Back in Lunteren, you'll pass, among other things, the monumental station building dating from 1902. At De Wormshoef, you can enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere.
