Tour of Woudenberg and Utrechtse Heuvelrug

From the edge of Amersfoort you can cycle straight into the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. Many kilometres of natural beauty await you here. One moment you cycle through fragrant coniferous forests, the next you cycle along stately old lanes past beech and oak trees. There are also a few heathlands on your route. Wonderfully varied. There is also no shortage of beautiful buildings here. For example, you pass Den Treek, an old estate. On the edge of Maarn you look out over't Stort, a country estate from 1903. And in Boswachterij Austerlitz you pass the Witte Huis, a former forester's house. In between you take a trip through the Gelderse Vallei. It is also wonderfully quiet cycling in this vast area. Ideal for a day of relaxation. The route ends at Leerhotel Het Klooster.
