Touring the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

This cycle route starts at Camping't Einde and takes you across the entire Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This region is bursting with variety. Rolling heathlands, old forests - and between the trees you catch a glimpse of beautiful country houses, such as the centuries-old Kasteel Maarsbergen. Your base is beautifully centrally located for your discovery tour of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. You cycle through a gently rolling landscape of heathlands and old deciduous and coniferous forests. A wonderful area where you almost automatically relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you. The National Park consists of various sub-areas. For example, with this route you discover Boswachterij Austerlitz, where you see beautiful parks and luxurious country houses between the trees. You also cycle right through the pleasant Veenendaal.
