Description

This cycling route starts at Camping't Einde and takes you across the entire Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This region is bursting with variety. Rolling heathlands, ancient forests - and between the trees you catch a glimpse of beautiful country houses, such as the centuries-old Maarsbergen Castle. Your base is centrally located for your discovery of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. You drive through a gently rolling landscape of heathlands and old deciduous and coniferous forests. A wonderful area where you can almost automatically relax and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you. The National Park consists of several sub-areas. With this route you will discover Austerlitz Forestry, where you will see beautiful parks and luxurious country houses among the trees. You also drive straight through the nice Veenendaal.
