A beautiful tour around Rhenen

In the forests on the Grebbeberg you pass the Grebbeberg military cemetery. Just past junction 24 you drive through the Blauwe Kamer, a rugged nature reserve with flowery grasslands, willow forests and marshes. Here you see the ruins of the brick factory De Blauwe Kamer. On the other side of the Nederrijn you have a beautiful view of the green Grebbeberg from the dike. Here you drive through the Betuwe. And you can see that: along your route there are many orchards. It is wonderful to make kilometers here. With a ferry you cross the river to Elst and drive through the forests up the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. In the picturesque village of Achterberg you see characteristic monumental farms. The route ends at't Paviljoen Rhenen (Bar/Lounge, Restaurant & Hotel) in the forests on the Grebbeberg.
