Tour of Beekbergen, Veluwe and Gelderse Vallei

This route takes you from B&B De Koffietuin through the Gelderse Valley. You drive through an open landscape with beautiful farms. At the end of your tour you will cycle into the woods of the Veluwe. Beekbergen still has a historic village image. On the Loenenseweg you pass the Teixeira de Mattos Park, which was opened in 1912. In the park is the Juliana tree, it was planted in 1937 in honor of the marriage between Juliana and Bernard. There is a striking ornamental fence around the tree. Beekbergen VSM (Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij) station is located in the adjacent village of Lieren. Here you can take a trip with the tourist steam train that shuttles between Apeldoorn and Dieren. After Klarenbeek you drive through the beautiful Appense Bos.
