Quiet area
From Zorgvlied you can drive straight into the woods and heaths of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. The silence in this nature reserve feels like a warm bath for your mind: wonderful! Sometimes you hear a bird, sometimes just the rustling of your trouser leg along your chain guard. You can cycle here for miles without meeting a car on the cycle path. You will see native species such as oak and Scots pine, but also exotic trees such as Douglas fir and Japanese larch.

In addition to beautiful nature, you will also find numerous places of interest in Drenthe, such as Saxon farms. In Diever you will pass the former Schultehuis from 1604 on the Brink. In Wapse you can make a pleasant stopover at Hotel Restaurant De Wapser Herberg. In Zorgvlied you will pass the monumental Dorpskerk from 1924. You will also see a beautiful white chapel from 1904.
