Your cycling route starts at VVV Utrecht. Utrecht is without a doubt one of the most attractive Dutch cities. You can still see the rich history of the city in the many picturesque buildings along the canals and squares. A beautiful watery route takes you out of the city. Via Nieuwegein you cycle to Vreeswijk and the Lek, passing through the beautiful Oudegein Park, which functions as the city's green lung. In IJsselstein you imagine yourself in the Middle Ages. Not surprising, because the contours and street plan of the city center have remained almost unchanged since then.
