Tour of the West Frisian Ring Dike and Schoorlse Dunes

You'll start at Bolletjescafé de Klok. This route takes you through the picturesque North Holland polder. First, you'll cycle through the Schoorlse Duinen, one of the most beautiful dune areas in Europe. These are the widest dunes in the Netherlands. Along the way, you'll see the Schoorlse Duinen and the Frisian Circular Dike, a cultural-historical monument. Then you'll cycle through an open landscape, dotted with picturesque old villages, ditches and waterways, grasslands, and dunes. You'll also cycle along the coast for a while, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air and the view across the blue horizon. Bulbs are grown in some fields, creating a beautiful palette of intense colors in season. You'll also cycle a section along the Frisian Circular Dike, the only monumental dike in the world.
