This route takes you through the peat landscape between Vinkeveen and Breukelen. From the cycle path you can enjoy wide views of a water-rich landscape. You see perfectly straight plots with monumental farms and grazing cows. There is also no shortage of cultural history. For example, you pass the Veenmolen from 1823. A little later you have a beautiful view over the Vinkeveense Plassen. And you come across the water past the thirteenth-century Loenersloot Castle. From the towpath along the Vecht you can see how man has created his own paradise on earth with country estates and fruit orchards.
