The Liemers
You cycle through the De Liemers area. There is something to experience for everyone. This way, culture lovers can visit the beautiful historic buildings. De Liemers is also very suitable for a nice day of shopping, walking or cycling. Zevenaar is the vibrant heart of De Liemers and has a pleasant center.

The Gelderse Poort
The De Gelderse Poort area is located in the region in which the Rhine branches into Waal, Nederrijn and IJssel. Water is central to De Gelderse Poort, as they call the municipality of Rijnwaarden'Het Gelders Eiland\\\'. The region is very beautiful for cycling and walking and there are more and more cycling and walking paths, making it possible to discover more and more of the area. It is ancient, but at the same time relatively new: wandering nature. It has become an exciting, adventurous kind of primeval nature, which appears to be greatly appreciated by tourists. Historic brick factory
At Buitengoed De Panoven you can learn more about the history of the former factory. Admire old machines, photos and films and learn more about the process from clay to brick. Until 1924, roof tiles, tiles, drainage pipes and bricks were produced in the factory. After that, only traditional bricks were made for the private housing market. In 1983 the last brickmaker extinguished the fire in the brick kiln. Today, the estate is still in the hands of the family that has run the factory for almost a hundred years.
