The Limers
You cycle through the De Liemers area. There is something to experience for everyone. This way the culture sniffers can visit the beautiful historic buildings. De Liemers is also very suitable for a nice day of shopping, walking or cycling. Zevenaar is the bustling heart of De Liemers and has a pleasant center.

The Gelderse Gate
The De Gelderse Poort area is located in the region in which the Rhine branches off into Waal, Nederrijn and IJssel. Water is central to De Gelderse Poort, as they call the municipality of Rijnwaarden'Het Gelders Eiland\\\'. The region is very nice for cycling and walking and there are more and more cycling and walking paths, so that more and more of the area can be discovered. It is ancient, but at the same time relatively new: nature for strolling. It has become an exciting, adventurous kind of primeval nature, which appears to be greatly appreciated by tourists. The nature in the Gelderse Poort keeps changing and everyone is free to roam right through this nature!

Historic brick factory
At Buitengoed De Panoven you can learn more about the history of the former factory. Admire old machines, photos and films and learn about the process from clay to brick. Until 1924, the factory produced roof tiles, tiles, drainage pipes and bricks. After that, only traditional bricks were made for the private housing market. In 1983, the last brickmaker extinguished the fire in the brick oven. The estate is still in the hands of the family that has run the factory for almost a hundred years.
