Tour Rheden-Zutphen

You start the route with fantastic views of the almost ninety meter high Posbank. Then you drive through the Veluwezoom. Here you can enjoy rolling forests and heathlands. What peace and quiet you experience here! You pass Biljoen Castle, which was built around 1530 by Karel van Gelre. Further on, you can take a well-deserved pit stop with a delicious pancake at Pannekoekhuis Strijland. In the IJsselvallei you drive through a landscape of flowery grasslands, countless streams and small forests. You can get a breath of fresh air in the meadows around the river. You will pass the sixteenth-century Voorstonden Castle. The estate has the thickest redwood tree in the Netherlands. You also drive through the charming village of Brummen. You drive back through the woods to the parking lot at the Posbank.
