Picturesque Florenville
The route starts and ends in Florenville. From the church tower (only open in high season) you have a magnificent view of the area. Cozy Florenville is known for its great hotels and hospitality. Be sure to pay a visit to Chocolatier Edouard in Florenville. In Jamoigne you can see a beautiful old church at the confluence of the rivers Semois and Vierre.
Trappist beer
In the Gaume you notice that life is influenced by the French pace. In the vast forests and idyllic stream valleys you will experience an unprecedented peace. It is not surprising that you will also find the Abbey of Orval here. This abbey was originally founded in 1070. After the destruction during the French Revolution, the abbey rose from its ashes in 1926. The only building left of the former abbey has recently been beautifully restored. You will find, among other things, information about brewing Orval.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
