Cycling through the woods near Weert

In the border area between Limburg and North Brabant you still experience an almost old-fashioned tranquility. On the Strabrechtse Heide you will find more than peace and space. You also cycle back in time, because this area shows what large parts of North Brabant used to be like. On the last part of your route you enter the rural area through characteristic hamlets such as Sluis 13 and Boeket. After your tour you can relax at the cozy Daatjeshoeve to regain your strength in comfort. The route also takes you through Someren-Heide. This mining village was once located on the border between Staats-Brabant and the Spanish Upper Gelre. You can admire it on the Kerkendijk. The route starts and ends at Huyskamer Daatjeshoeve, where you can enjoy a snack and a drink afterwards.
