Ourthe valley
Beautiful quiet forests stretch around the Ourthe valley. It is nice and quiet cycling between the oaks and Douglas firs. Come here to relax completely. From Samrée it is a bit of a climb to the highest point of this area at the Croix de Chafor. The name of this cross refers to the warm ovens used by lumberjacks to make charcoal in the forests. In the village of Maboge you cross the Ourthe. Enjoy the beautiful view at this point.
Castle ruin
You will experience the French influence in the characteristic Ardennes villages.
