Egmond aan den Hoef
The town of Rinnegom forms the starting point of this route. From here you walk through the dunes to Egmond aan den Hoef. In this beautiful area near the old fishing village of Egmond aan Zee you will find so-called'blonde\\\' dunes. These dunes are a lot lighter in color than the dunes in the rest of the area. Furthermore, the dune water has formed numerous water pools here that form the habitat of, among other things, the natterjack toad and various species of salamanders. In Egmond aan den Hoef you can admire beautiful historic buildings, such as the monumental Slotkapel. Part of this village has a protected village view. Outside the village you will find bulb fields that are full of beautiful flowers in bright colors in the spring.

Egmond aan Zee
A stone's throw from Rinnegom you will find the seaside resort of Egmond aan Zee. The beach of this place is especially popular among families, but it is actually a good place for everyone. On the beach of Egmond aan Zee you will find a large white lighthouse that completes the picturesque picture. Enjoy the view here and get a breath of fresh air on the beach.
