The beautiful dune area near Egmond-Binnen

You can enjoy beautiful walks around Egmond-Binnen. First, you walk along an unpaved path beside the Egmonder Binnenvaart. To your left, you look out over the bulb fields. In spring and summer, you can enjoy the most beautiful colors here. Just past Rinnegom, you will see Landhuis Koningshof standing on the left side of the road, a building that originally dates back to 1865. A little later, you enter the dunes; they are much lighter in color here than the dunes in the rest of the area. Furthermore, you will find special vegetation here such as the blue sea thistle, sea buckthorn, and sea bramble. The tranquility is soothing; if you hear anything at all, it is usually a bird. Back in Egmond-Binnen, you can visit the Egmond Abbey Museum and the Egmond Abbey shop.
