Tour of the countryside around Eibergen

Your route starts at Grand Café De Klok Patisserie. In the countryside surrounding Eibergen, you take a peaceful walk through the Achterhoek landscape. You will also pass several historical sights. Just after crossing the Berkel, you pass the Kruidenhof in Mallum. The monumental half-timbered barn once belonged to the Mallum manor house. Now, a landscape artist has created a labyrinth here. Across the water, you can see the Mallumse Molen, a grain and hulling mill that was mentioned as early as 1424. You cross the Berkel, after which you walk along the leafy footpath beside the Ramsbeek. Further on, you walk through the varied Kerkloobos, a legacy left to the community by a former mayor of Eibergen in 1924. Plenty of variety!
