Tour of Oirschot and Best

Your route starts at Boutique Hotel Bed&Bos. At cycle junction 3 you cycle past the Philips Fruittuin, a nice place to get off your bike. Then you cycle towards the farming village of Wintelre. Through the Buikheide nature reserve you cycle to Vessem, a quiet village around a large rectangular lawn. You will find centuries-old buildings there such as the old town hall,'De Leeuw\\\' and the Sint-Lambertuskerk. The Oirschotse heide is a large heathland and drifting sand area that is mainly used as a military training ground. Oirschot itself is a beautiful old town. At De Vier Quartieren, Museum of Brabant Folklife, you can learn more about the history. It is located in a monumental building, a prominent canon's house from the late Middle Ages.
