Tour of the Veluwe with views

Your route starts at Chr. Vakantiepark Beloofde Land, with a cup of coffee at Brasserie Dolce Vita. Along the way you will discover Klein Boeschoten, a private estate. The estate is freely accessible to hikers and limited to cyclists. Here you can still see the original layout of the medieval gamekeeping estate, formerly owned by the Counts of Gelre. After the well-known Kootwijkerzand, cycle further over the Caitwickerzand. This was also once an extensive sandy plain. By planting oaks and pines, the drifting sand came to lie in the lee, so that the sand became overgrown with mosses, heather, grasses and Scots pines. For even more views, you can take a tour near Ede through the Luntersche Buurtbosch, past two lookout towers: Lookout tower De Hessenhut and Lookout tower De Koepel.
