Tour of the neighborhoods near Voorthuizen

Your route starts at Chr. Vakantiepark Beloofde Land, with a cup of coffee at Brasserie Dolce Vita. Soon you will pass Molen De Hoop. The first standard mill was built on this site in 1860, the current mill dates from the end of the nineteenth century. You can visit it on Saturday. You cycle to Driedorp on a leafy road. You make a beautiful rural crossing to Nijkerk, where you can possibly go into the centre for a break. In the countryside of Nijkerk you will pass the monumental farm complex Klein Boeijen, a national monument in the hamlet of Hell. It is a hall house with the front house with cellar and the actual farm in the back house. Note the thatched hipped roof, red ridges in the ridge and the brick chimney with smoke hood.
