Your route starts at Restaurant De Bunckman. You will soon discover Klein Boeschoten, a private estate. It is freely accessible. Here you can still beautifully see the original design of the medieval Wildforster estate, formerly owned by the counts of Gelre. You also cycle across the Oud Groevenbeek estate. This estate contains an Art Nouveau villa from 1907 and a water tower from 1912 that would not have looked out of place as part of a show castle. It's worth putting the bike aside here! A little later you cycle into the Sprielderbos, one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. In the middle of the forest you come across Drie, a centuries-old picturesque hamlet with a small inn. You cycle back to your starting point via charming Garderen.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
