This short route introduces you to Voorst and the surrounding area. At the starting point you will see the first sight of today: the fifteenth-century village church, whose tower dates from the twelfth century. Further on you will also see some monumental buildings, such as the small hall church on Enkweg, which dates from 1880. De Zwaan is a flour mill that was completed in 1904. Then you drive through the Appense Forest. This nature reserve is part of the Beekzicht Estate, founded in 1820. In the hamlet of Appen (not to be confused with the modern verb) you will see some beautiful farms. Just after junction 37 you drive through the Voorsterklei, an old cultural landscape. At Koffie & Theehuis't Momentje it is time for a drink and a snack in the orchard.
