Bird splendor in Mosselgoren and Neerhelst

The route starts and ends at the Molen van't Veld, where the visitor center, the Geels Brouwerijmuseum and the Bakkerijmuseum Ten Aard are also located. You walk via the Zeggendijk and along the north side of the Canal from Bocholt to Herentals to the nature reserve Mosselgoren, a paradise for bird lovers.

Then you cross the Bailey bridge and walk through the Neerhelst - De Botten nature reserve, which is known for its rich flora with rare plants.

The return route takes you along the south side of the Bocholt to Herentals Canal, where you cross the bascule bridge and return to the Molen van 't Veld via the north side of the canal.

Boots or sturdy shoes are recommended in wet natural areas.
