Description
The castle route starts and ends at hiking junction 143 at Horst Castle in Sint-Pieters-Rode, a sub-municipality of Holsbeek, located in the province of Flemish Brabant.
Horst Castle is a moated castle between the hills of Hageland. through two the Great ponds of Horst you walk through the castle domain of Horst along the stream Winge.
After walking junction 145 you can go into the centre of Sint-Pieters-Rode and admire the St. Peter's Church or have a drink on a terrace.
Over the Winge stream at hiking junction 236 you walk through the Troostemberg forest.
