Description
This route leads from Delfzijl, via Appingedam to Schildmeer. There is a cycle path around Schildmeer that is used. Along the lake there are a number of eating/drinking establishments, benches and a beach where you can relax and enjoy the view. The tour then goes along the Drainage Canal via Tjuchem, Meedhuizen to Delfzijl. Just before the exit to Meedhuizen is another Woltjerspoor station. The route is also suitable for walking
