Tour of Agelerbroek, Weerselo Stift and Ootmarsum

In the area around Ootmarsum and Tubbergen, agricultural areas, coniferous and deciduous forests and authentic towns and villages alternate. You will also find numerous centuries-old estates with beautifully landscaped gardens and historic buildings. Ootmarsum is known as the art town of the eastern Netherlands. For example, you will find all kinds of museums and art galleries here where you can indulge yourself if you are an art lover, but the historic alleys of Ootmarsum are also worth a visit. Between Ootmarsum and Denekamp you will find the Agelerbroek. A beautiful forest area that, together with the Voort and Voltherbroek, forms a stream valley. Take a break at Het Stift van Weerselo. From the fourteenth century onwards, unmarried noble ladies were provided with a good education in this monastery.
