Bicycle route Veenendaal and Rhenen

Starting from Veenendaal, you will experience a beautiful day of cycling. First, between junctions 48 and 47, you ride a short distance along the Slaperdijk, which was constructed in 1653. A little further on, you pass the Landal Amerongse Berg holiday park, after which you ride onto the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Cycling through the woods is wonderfully peaceful. To the right, you look out over the rippling water; to the left lies the Grebbeberg. For the final kilometers, you cycle along the Valleikanaal. From junction 11, you look out to the right over the Binnenveldse Hooilanden, a nature reserve consisting of species-rich grasslands.
