Cycling route Veenendaal and Rhenen

From Veenendaal you will experience a wonderful cycling day. First you drive a bit between junctions 48 and 47 over the Slaperdijk, which was constructed in 1653. A little further on you pass the Landal Amerongse Berg holiday park, after which you drive onto the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. It is wonderfully peaceful to cycle in the woods. After a few kilometers you pass House of Bird Kwintelooijen. Time for a break on the cozy terrace! Just before Rhenen you pass Holiday Park De Thijmse Berg, a little later you drive along the banks of the Lower Rhine. On the right you look out over the rippling water, on the left is the Grebbeberg. You cycle the last kilometers along the Valleikanaal. From junction 11 you look out to the right over the Binnenveldse Hooilanden, a nature reserve consisting of species-rich grasslands.
