Tour of Valkenburg and Vaals

Your route starts at Herberg De Geulhemermolen. Valkenburg is a well-known hotspot in South Limburg. You will see historic buildings such as the Old Mill and the French Mill, but of course also the ruins of Valkenburg Castle. In Oud-Valkenburg you will pass the eleventh-century John the Baptist Church, one of the oldest churches in this region. The town enjoys a protected village view, it seems as if you are driving back in time here. The centuries-old castles Schaloen and Genhoes are located on the Geul. In Gulpen you will pass the striking church tower to which St. Peter's Church was once attached. In the border village of Oud-Lemiers you should stop for the beautiful twelfth-century St. Catherine's Chapel. You cycle along the foot of the Schneeberg, just in Germany, to Vaals. You drive back via the nice Mechelen.
