Description
Beautiful walking route through the Weerterbos. Start at the Daatjeshoeve catering and parking lot, with a short excursion to the Peerkesbosch catering industry (Fiets & Wandelcafe) along the way. Also past the Weerterbos Lookout Post tower, a spot for Red Deer, and the open Border Church in the forest.
Please note: at junction 80 you can turn left on this route, to the high tower and viewpoint Uitkijkpost Weerterbos. A little further along the path is the open-air church De Grenskerk, with cross and benches.
