Tour of Leuve Hoeve via Orchid Path

Your route starts at Uitspanning Mini Camping De Leuve hoeve. Here you are in the middle of the Betuwe, the fruit garden of the Netherlands. You walk past beautiful orchards where white-pink blossoms decorate the area in spring and apples and pears hang abundantly from the branches in summer. The area is known for fairytale orchards, but also for the picturesque dike villages. Along the Linge, you can look out from the dike over the flower-rich grasslands and fruit orchards along the river. You walk a long way along the Appeldijk, one of the most beautiful parts of the Linge. The river Linge was once a raging stream. Anyone who sees the water meandering through the Betuwe landscape past picturesque villages can hardly imagine it!
