Tour of Leuve Hoeve via Orchid Path

You are in the middle of the Betuwe, the fruit garden of the Netherlands. You walk along beautiful orchards where in the spring a white-pink blossom decorates the area and in the summer the apples and pears hang abundantly from the branches. The area is known for its fairytale orchards, but also for the picturesque dike villages. Along the Linge you look out from the dike over the flowery grasslands and orchards along the river. You walk a long way over the Appeldijk, one of the most beautiful parts of the Linge. The river Linge used to be a wild stream. Anyone who sees the water meandering past picturesque villages through the landscape of the Betuwe can hardly imagine it anymore!
