Tour of Ruurlo and Borculo

Your cycling route starts at De Zellerij Eten & Drinken. In this environment you will experience what they mean in the Achterhoek by taking a breather. Here you drive through a backdrop of old ash trees, meadows and hedgerows. Get off in Ruurlo, a pleasant town with a beautiful historic center. Here you will see, among other things, the fourteenth-century Village Church. The biggest attraction of Ruurlo is located just outside the village: Ruurlo Castle. This castle was already mentioned in 1326. Further on, stop at the De Lebbenbrugge Farm Museum, if only because of its beautiful location on the water! The nice Borculo arose around the castle of the same name, where a small settlement was founded. There are some beautiful monuments to see on the quay. Such as the Stone Table, a water mill from the eighteenth century.
