Gasthof De Beiaard, just before the Dutch border in the Belgian Kempen, is a household name for Belgians and Dutch people who are fond of Flemish-Burgundy delights. People come from far and wide for the delicious, extensive cuisine, but also for the wooded area, and of course the historic Abbey. Gasthof de Beiaard has a unique sun terrace, a beautiful restaurant, a Kempen tavern and beautiful cycling and walking routes.

Taverne D'n Ouwe Brandtoren

Burgemeester Willekenslaan 2
5541 NA Reusel-De Mierden

This tavern is located in an old'fireworker's house\\\'. The cottage in the woods between Reusel and Postel was built in 1933 as a residence for a foreman of the municipality. The foreman was involved in the afforestation of the moor, so it was convenient for him to live in the middle of nature. In 1999, that house was transformed into the tavern. There used to be a fire tower next to the house. That tower is no longer there, but the tavern is named after this old tower. The restaurant is surrounded by the countless forests of the Kempen. An ideal place for nature lovers who like to explore the area on their hiking boots or by bike. In the tavern you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or choose one of the 40 types of special beers and drink it on the terrace. Did you get hungry? Then you are also in the right place. Choose from the various Burgundian meals and eat your fill.
