Bluenet walk | Pieterpad Coevorden-Hardenberg-Ommen

From Coevorden to Hardenberg
The starting point of the route is at Coevorden train station. From here you walk through the Drenthe and Overijssel polder landscape to Gramsbergen. You cross the Overijsselse Vecht and that is certainly not the last time you will see this river meandering through the landscape on this route. Along the way you can take a break at Granny\\\'s Barn Hadassa Hoeve to enjoy a snack and a drink. From here you can also follow route 207556. Then you walk through the center of Hardenberg and past Hardenberg train station. Then you head towards Ommen, where you walk for hours through the quiet polders and agricultural areas.

The fish ladders at Junne weir
A little outside Junne you will come across a weir in the Vecht. At this weir so-called'fish ladders\\\' have been constructed, so that the fish can easily bridge the height from the weir to the river. These stairs provide a special sight. Furthermore, you walk around Junne through a green forest area. Until the end of the'60s, wood was cut in these forests for the mining industry in Limburg. The wood was transported by train to its final destination. Nowadays it is a normal nature reserve.

The last part to Ommen
The final stop of this walk is Ommen train station on the edge of the town. Before you get there, you will first walk past a beautiful sight: Landgoed het Laer. On this estate you will find an old manor house with a beautiful park around it. A few years ago, the house was completely renovated.
