Tour of De Mortelen near Oirschot

De Mortelen is the heart of the Groene Woud, the largest landscape reserve in Brabant. Put on your walking shoes to explore this beautiful area. After a cup of coffee at Hoeve 1827 you will have plenty of energy for a walk. From here you can walk straight into the Mortelen. The landscape in this nature reserve has hardly been influenced by the large land consolidations, so you get a glimpse of the old Brabant farming landscape. A journey back in time! You walk through a backdrop of poplar groves, coniferous forests and grasslands and arable lands. A beautiful environment in which you automatically switch back. Back at your starting point you can grab a terrace to enjoy the route. The route is only short, so you have plenty of time to stick around for a while!
