Cycling between Zwolle and Heino

From the parking lot you drive a bit along the city canal. You will see some monumental buildings, on the other side of the water is De Potgietersingel city park. South of the city you cycle across Landgoed Schellerberg, which is located on an old river dune. You can get off at junction 18 to enjoy the view over the IJssel at your leisure. A little later you pass through the Zandhove Bos, along the banks of the Soestwetering you drive into the Salland countryside. You will pass Landgoed Colckhof, further on is Landgoed 't Rozendael. In Heino you pass the nineteenth-century church, the tower dates back to the fifteenth century. At Restaurant De Witte Gans you can enjoy a delicious meal, after which you cycle back to the historic center of Zwolle.
