Cycling between Zwolle and Heino

From the parking lot you drive a bit along the city canal. You will see some monumental buildings, and across the water is De Potgietersingel city park. South of the city you cycle through the Schellerberg Estate, which is located on an old river dune. You can get off at junction 18 to enjoy the view over the IJssel at your leisure. A little later you pass through the Zandhove Bos, along the banks of the Soestwetering you drive into the Salland countryside. You pass Landgoed Colckhof, further along is Landgoed 't Rozendael. In Heino you will pass the nineteenth-century church, the tower dates from the fifteenth century. Enjoy a delicious meal at Restaurant De Witte Gans, after which you cycle back to the historic center of Zwolle.
