Twente is a known paradise for cyclists. However, hikers can also indulge in the beautiful Twente scenic landscape. This route takes you over the Paasberg, the Hakenberg and through the Lutterzand.

The Easter Mountain
Around the Paasberg and Hakenberg you walk through a varied farm landscape of hills, valleys, forests and streams. Along the way you will enjoy enchanting vistas and beautiful views. On clear days you can even see from the eighty meter high Paasberg beyond Ootmarsum, all the way into Germany. Thanks to the many streams and the special composition of the soil, many types of plants grow here. For example, water ragwort and marsh marigold do exceptionally well here.

Picturesque Dinkel
The Lutterzand nature reserve is a must for every hiking enthusiast. In the rolling landscape you walk through sand drifts and through forests with Scots pine, birch and oak. Over the centuries, the Dinkel has carved out some steep banks here. A lovely place to relax with a picnic. The Lutterzand is still an oasis of peace. You can continue to enjoy the good Twente life with a drink, meal and stay at Hotel Restaurant Het Ros van Twente.
