Cycling through the forests and the Vechtdal near Hardenberg

From Camping De Kleine Wolf you can take a varied bike ride through nature. First you cycle through the coniferous forest of the Diffelerveld. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh scents. You make a shortcut through the hamlet of Diffelen, after which you cycle a good distance through Boswachterij Hardenberg. Around 1900 there were wild lands here, now a mix of Douglas firs, Scots pines, American oaks and summer oaks grow here. Just before junction 62 you pass the Rheezermaten, a nature reserve with flowery grasslands. Rheeze is one of the most beautiful brink villages in Overijssel. You see centuries-old Saxon farms surrounded by meadows and stately old trees. Via Diffelen you cycle through the vast forests of the Diffelerveld again. What a beautiful and peaceful region!
