Cycling through the woods and the Vechtdal near Hardenberg

From Camping De Kleine Wolf you can take a varied cycle tour through nature. First you cycle through the pine forest of the Diffelerveld. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh scents. You make a shortcut through the hamlet of Diffelen, after which you drive quite a bit through Boswachterij Hardenberg. Around 1900 there were wastelands here, but now a mix of Douglas fir, Scots pine, American oak and pedunculate oak grows here. Just before junction 62 you pass the Rheezermaten, a nature reserve with flower-rich grasslands. Rheeze is one of the most beautiful green villages in Overijssel. You will see centuries-old Saxon farms surrounded by meadows and stately old trees. Via Diffelen you drive through the vast forests of the Diffelerveld again. What a beautiful and peaceful region!
