Tour of Vessem, Best and Middelbeers

West of Eindhoven, small roads and cycle paths lead you through rural Brabant. You'll cycle past fields, meadows, and small plots of woodland to Vessem. Here you'll see several beautiful long-façade farmhouses and the Jacobus, a grain mill dating from 1893. In the Buikheide woods, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet and the fragrant conifers, after which you'll cycle along the Beatrix Canal to Batadorp. This neighborhood was built in 1934 for the workers of the Bata shoe factory. The original buildings are a protected village view. Just after Best, you'll pass two old chapels, and at Kasteel Bijsterveld - Brasserie Jacob V, you can enjoy a break in a charming setting. In Middelbeers, you'll cycle a short distance past the New and Old St. Willibrordus Churches. Finally, you'll pass through Netersel, one of the Eight Beatitudes.
