Description

Vledder is a nice village that is easy to explore on foot. At De Hoek you will soon pass the first attraction, the John the Baptist Church. This single-aisled church dates from the fifteenth century. Striking: the tower was built in Romanesque style and has a gable roof. You continue walking past a number of beautiful buildings, including a thatched monumental hall house farm from 1902. You also pass the Brink. Here you can see, among other things, the former town hall. Museum Vledder has been located here since 1998. The building at number 11 dates from the 1920s. Until 1970 it served as a post office, after which it was converted into a residential destination. You walk back to Camping Padjelanta through the forest south and west of the village.
