Tour of Wijboschbroek, Veghel and Eerde

With this route you will have a beautiful day of cycling. First you cycle to Vroeger, a little later you cycle into the Wijboschbroek. In this nature reserve you can still see the poplar landscape that was so characteristic of Veghel and the surrounding area from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. The wood of the poplars was used for the clog industry. Further on you cycle past Kasteel Heeswijk, a centuries-old moated castle that is located in a beautiful park. You cycle through the village of Kameren, after which you cycle through the Heeswijkse Bossen. From junction 97 you cycle a stretch over the former route of the Duits lijntje, a railway connection that connected Boxtel with the German Wesel between 1878 and 1945. You cycle out of Veghel along the river Aa.
