Tour Wijboschbroek, Veghel and Eerde

A beautiful cycling day awaits you with this route. First you drive to Earlier, a little later you cycle into Wijboschbroek. In this nature reserve you can still see the poplar landscape that was so characteristic of Veghel and the surrounding area from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. The wood from the poplars was used for the clog industry. Further on you drive past Heeswijk Castle, an ancient moated castle that is located in a beautiful park. You drive through the village of Kameren, after which you cycle through the Heeswijkse Bossen. From junction 97 you drive along the former route of the German line, a railway connection that connected Boxtel with Wesel in Germany between 1878 and 1945. You drive out of Veghel along the Aa river. The route ends at Het Goeie Leven.
